Another offering by Aimee Bender whose writing style and prose to me seem off-kilter but this adds to the charm of her novels. The main character discovers as a child that when she eats food, she feels the emotions of the person that made the meal. Unique plot but I did get annoyed with the complacency of this character and her inability to sort of take charge of her life until the very end.
