2nd in the series - Elizabeth's friend, Bridget, is getting married and her horrid aunt is murdered, probably by one of the family, so Elizabeth has to repeat her crime-solving. Some detection, some quotes & reminders of Austen, not much decent romance - all okay but not great. The solution is marred by too many red herrings, and the dialogue suffers from what I think of as G.Lucas syndrome: too close to the way people actually talk to be anything but annoying and embarassing to the reader. Still more enjoyable than much Austen-based dreck lately, but not lots more.
