I loved this one just as much as I loved the first book in the series. Although there was a lot of drama this time around, at heart this series still feels extremely light hearted and enjoyable, especially when compared to other teen vampire books. Mina and her family are forced to move so that her Dad can study with Dr. Jonas, a famous vampire historian. They end up moving to a small town in Louisianna called Cartville. Small town living can difficult for anyone, but trying to keep a huge secret like being a vampire is hard. Plus she isn't hearing from George and misses Serena. I was mostly happy with how things turned out although I still felt like she forgave George to easily. But overall I really enjoyed it and definitely hope there is another one in the works.
