This book was wonderful and I hope to loan it out to others so that it will touch their lives as well. I really enjoyed the tone of this book as a whole and it well reflected the way I feel about my own mothering and the relationship mothers have with other mothers. It is told with a lot of humor as well, which I sorely need at the moment.

The best thing I found in this book was the expression of our fate as daughters of the 70s - our mothers told us that we could have it all, a career and a family, but no one had ever really done it before. It was a myth. And here we miserable, with jobs, marriages, kids, juggling as fast as we can, wondering where all that fulfillment is that our mothers told us about. Really put things in perspective as I incorporate my 2nd kid into my marriage and career. Exhausting.
