Okay, normally I really don't like books where a guy and a girl eye-hump each other for 5 minutes and then decide they're the ones that Kiss song was written for. This book is no different.
At first I was a bit suspicious, because well... it's not like Nash noticed Kaylee before, so I didn't really know where the sudden interest comes from. But my suspicion faded pretty quickly, ahem.
But of course, Kaylee is beautiful, but doesn't know it... And I can see where this thing with Tod is going... (I'm so effing smart, I scare myself and for those who don't know me, again, YES, that was loaded with heavy sarcasm) But... My god, I enjoyed this book so much! I had tons of fun, what a great way to start off 2011!
Kaylee is a great girl, I like spending time with her. And I like it even more when she spends time with Nash (who is basically sexwith on a stick), wink wink, nudge nudge. UNF.
I'm so excited to read the next book, but also a tad scared because of some comments my friends posted... I have all of them on my Kindle, so I don't think I'll be able to wait.
So.... heartbreak, here I come? *frowns*

Ooooh, I loved this one! I have to say though that I am having major issues with this series. I read book 1-3 and book 4 comes out sometime this month but I refuse to read it.Can't wait to hear what you think! Happy reading :)
I've only read the first book and I love it. Book two and three are sitting here and book four is at the stores. Can't wait to continue though:)
Book two and three were really good as well but the ending was very depressing and I heard from reliable sources that things won't get better in book 4, so that's why I don't want to read it. Book 3 broke my heart and I just don't feel like tearing open this old wound right now. Especially since we won't get a conclusion in book 4. I heard that it will actually get worse. :-(
Oh really? Wow, thanks for the heads up. I think I'll just collect the books and wait till there all out before I read the rest. Me no likey heart fail;)
Yep, I'll do exactly the same! The ending of book 3 left me depressed for days so I think it's a very good idea to wait until all the books are out :)
I enjoyed this series too but I am going to wait too for a couple of books. I need a happy ending no tears :)
This was a decent read for me. A little slow at times, but I liked the premise. I just bought the fourth book today.
Are you guys trying to make me stop reading this? =D All that talk about depression, tears,...I'm already scared to move on.
LOL! Great review Kim, I'm glad you liked this one, it was an excellent read. I'm gonna hold off with reading the rest even though I own them all...just in case.Looking forward to seeing what you think of the others:)
Oh man - now I know heartbreak is coming. How long do I have - Now I am going to expect it to happen any minute. Shit - well you always have to have a tear jerker of book in the series. I bet that horny little Nash won't be able to keep it in his pants while Kaylee is still virginal (horny little bastard). Flashbacks happing - "My so called Life" when Jared Leto couldn't keep it in his pants and he slept with Angela's best friend. **Shaking Head** just because I am picturing young Jared Leto as Nash doesn’t mean the same outcome….can it? I am probably misjudging Nash. I am so bitchy some time. Okay – tomorrow reading marathon to find out what happened. One book down and three to go.
Book 3 is where it all goes down, but I still like Nash, he's not a bad guy. ^^ You'll find out what happened soon enough and I'm glad you enjoyed the first book!
i love this book :D i can really relate to what you said in you review! i almost gave up reading it, i'm so glad i didn't :D
I agree with what you say about the whole thing with Nash and Kaylee falling in love, but i think that was the whole point of the book... its a really good book i must say. I finished reading all the books that follow and theyre pretty cool;)
Kim wrote: "I haven't read If I Die yet... Brrr... :D"Scared? :) Cause I am...haven't touched the evil thing yet and I don't see me doing so anytime soon :-D
Oh, and I read the blurb for "Before I Wake" and it spoiled pretty much everything o_O And let me tell you, Jess is very unhappy >8( Rachel Vincent can bite my... *harrumph* (and I mean that in an un-trollish way) :)
Maybe we should tackle it together? And then whine about it online, preferably when there's some alcohol involved. :)It's a date, if you feel like it :)
I really think we should try to set a date to see each other again this year, maybe even go on a weekend abroad (like Dublin for instance -cough Barrons cough- ) If you want to, that is :)
