This book is terrific--well-written, exciting story, much more detail than I was expecting--terrific effort. MacIntyre is a first-class researcher and pretty darn good writer. I could hardly put this one down. Who knew? LOL Really made me think of who thinks up all these crazy intelligence stunts--I'm grateful for this one. My grandfather fought in Italy, although he was not in on the invasion of Sicily. But what ever happened to the guy who thought up trying to make Castro's beard fall out? LOL
