Very interesting book. A young, Vietnamese, woman is found murdered along the highway. Walt, the county sheriff in Absaroka County, Wyoming investigates. He starts to have flashbacks to Vietnam. He has flashbacks about a young bar girl he knew and a case he was investigating. How were the events forty years ago related to the dead girl in his county?

A very good mystery. We get some insight to Walt's Vietnam service and Henry's tour of duty as well. We also get a to see the relationship between Walt and Vic ebb and flow. This was one of his better novels in this amazing mystery series. I would start at the beginning but you could easily pick this book up and get the feeling of what you are in for with the relationships between the characters. Craig is definitely a great writer.
