Pride and Prejudice
by Jane Austen
by Jane Austen
I beg to offer my apologies for the displeasure I had in this book. It gives me such pain to disagree with 97% of the reading audience. The language, being difficult to decipher, made it impossible for me to recognize my good fortune in acquiring a copy for my reading pleasure. I was in great hopes that I could persuade myself to like it, but could not be duped in the end. I thought it was a shallow book, with no substance or plot. I am truly vexed as to how this novel became such a classic. Please forgive me for the prejudice I do carry.
