Good book, I liked it a lot.
There is mystery, action, and the characters have developments which is great (now, you wouldn't want to read a book where the thing just repeats itself. Plus here not only the relationships change, but also the characters themselves.)
I liked the main character, Andrea, because we can sympathize with her and because I kinda of like the bad, strong type of female lead. And her actions are understandable, and I'm pretty sure any woman would've done almost the same if she was in her place.
The main guy, Simon\Cross, I liked him lots too! Really who doesn't love the badass assassin who falls in love? (those factors can be called "the good stuff for fantasy")
I even liked the bad guy, Rafael, a little. If you don't put the drug lord and the "go ahead bro" factors into the equation, he's pretty pitiful because whether he really like her or not, he started caring for her to some level.
All the part after her dying was really interesting, the details the author came up with like her being able to see people's past when she was dead or her being able to see a possible future was great, and the emotional things after her coming back also were great because we got to see some more tender assassin moments (yay for the fantasy department in our memory part of the brain~)
And the suspense was also great, although I didn't like the detail parts of their planning but ohh well they were good information for maybe some future use LOL
