A Killer Stitch (A Knitting Mystery, #4)
by Maggie Sefton
by Maggie Sefton
First, a warning - when I read the jacket copy of this book, I had no earthly idea what the heck this book was about. So I suggest just not reading it. If you liked the first three books in this series, just trust that you'll like this book, and read it; don't worry about the jacket copy.
Basically, the deal is that there's a dead guy and he was involved in a love triangle. Why the jacket copy insists on taking two really complicated paragraphs to say that, I have no idea. Kelly gets personally involved with one of the women involved (no, not THAT involved, you gutter-minded freaks!), and ends up trying to keep her off the suspect list, as well as trying to keep her on the wagon.
And did I mention that the holidays are approaching?
In the meantime, the romance between Kelly and Steve is kicking up a bit (but not too much; I mean, it's book four - we wouldn't want them moving too fast), Kelly is trying to buy a ranch house, and there's a scene at the end that had me literally laughing out loud.
