Pretty much as soon as finished the last page on book #2 in the series, I started this book. In this book, Kelly and her friends have travelled to New Mexico to see their (previously unheard of) friend Allison's wearable art exhibit before she (Allison) goes to New York to work for a big-name artist.

A few days later, when Kelly and another friend go to Allison's house to pick her up and take her to the airport, they find Allison's dead body.

Kelly goes into sleuthing mode, and finds plenty of suspects - the competitive art student, the angry ex-boyfriend, and an art gallery owner who claims Allison stole his work.

In the meantime, Kelly continues to learn to knit, the knitters continue to convince Kelly to date Steve, and the author continues to annoy me to using the exact same phrases over and over in every single book.
