Another one that goes back to my high school days (daze?). Not a bad book I suppose, I'm not a big Asimov fan. Of course here the book is a novelization of a film...sort of a reverse process. What did the movie have that the book doesn't? Raquel Welch of course!

Both sides of the cold war have miniaturization...but it only lasts a short time. The scientist who can make it work is in a coma, from an attempted assassination. The blood clot must be broken...but it's inoperable...what shall we do?????!!!!????

Why shrink a mini-sub and it's crew of doctors and send them in to fight their way through the bodies defenses in of course the limited time they have till the "shrink" wears of.

Got the picture? Good. But I'd still give it another star if it had Raquel.

Sarah (Tail-Kinker) Is the movie you're referring to "Inner Space"? I loved that movie! I'll have to pick this up sometime.

Mike (the Paladin) The Fantastic Voyage Movie 1966 one of the big breakthrough science fiction movies for it's day. The special effects of a miniaturized sub in the body brought in huge audiences (but I still think Raquel helped with that to ) :)
