Although the book itself is not lengthy, it's premise is legendary. The author attempts to remind us again of what so many have discoverd through the ages. It is not the conditions around us, but rather the conditions within us that really matters. The very title of the book is thought provoking. It makes you think again, "what are favorable conditions"? Obviously, it varies from person to person and their views of life. The author suggests that a deeper reach within to find the spiritual resources that are latent there will reveal the possibilities of creating even better conditons than we are currently aware of. In the opening chapter, the author states on the last page "depending on your outlook". This seems to be the core of what she is saying in her book. It really does depend on our outlook and she offers many suggestions to help change our outlook.
