did not like it

** spoiler alert ** This book irritated me to no end.

Of course this is my humble opion, I dislike the book mostly because of the way Maddie handle the pending divorce with her kids. It sounded like she was her future ex's cheerleader. Maddie's mom did point out that Maddie looked like she was justifying Bill's (her ex) actions to her kids. Made her look like a rug to be step upon. Now I don't believe that parent's should bad mouth each other in front of the kids, but this was surreal.

Bill expected the kids to be in his wedding and the oldest be his best man. He made this request just weeks after he deserted his family and moved in with his pregnant girlfriend. I didn't like a lot of the satellite characters. Maddie herself hooked up with a real hunk (her oldest son's coach) and the kids were just fine with that! And last but not least the lady narrator drove me nuts by her tone when she played Maddie. Wanted to scream! I did like her southern accent, though.
