it was amazing
bookshelves: ebook-audiobook, five-star

This was one of the first few science fiction novels I read as a test before immersing myself completely in this genre. Needless to say, it helped in my decision to take the plunge.

It's a sad world for young Ender to live in, with the big people pulling strings all the time in order to pursue their own interests, but, still: this story just blew my mind. If you're sensitive about issues like child slavery, military interests and political power, you may want to consider reading this book, if only to be informed and, possibly, be disgusted.
