really liked it
bookshelves: dystopian
Read from September 27 to October 01, 2010

A chilling dystopian novel, all the more effective as headlines make it seem increasingly probable. Deserves a place on the bookshelf next to On the Beach; each reminds us that we are playing with toys that are all too likely to sweep our venal, vacuous existence from this planet.
