** spoiler alert ** I really enjoyed this First in the Writers Friends series. Lucy is a fun and quirky character, that is doing some online dating researching for her next thriller novel. She has met some real dud's but when Quinn shows up at Starbucks she is definitely impressed with what she sees. but why would someone as good looking and seemingly together as Quinn be dating online?

Quinn is hunting a serial killer that has killed three men so far and seems to be finding her victims online. He is setting up these online dates to find the killer but he didn't expect Lucy. She fits the profile and though he had seen pictures of her, she is much better in the flesh. He find that she is smart, witty and very beautiful. He is instantly attracted to he, but wait, he is on a case and she is a possible killer. He can't get involved with a killer.

While the story progresses Quinn and Lucy can't seem to avoid the attraction that they feel, but Quinn tries to keep his eye on the case. But when Lucy finds out that Quinn lied to her and is really looking for a killer, and suspected that the killer was her, she feels betrayed and foolish. She and Quinn join forces to catch the killer and can't help but find themselves in love with each other.

I found this a great read that you will find yourself wishing wasn't ending.
