** spoiler alert ** The cover of a book is what usually catches me - and this cover caught my attention and I picked it up at a yard sale. In this case, with such a cute cover, I almost immediately found myself disappointed by the contents.

I found this book to be tedious at times - and much to long. It didn't help, I don't think, that the affair was introduced right at the beginning of the book - therefore I didn't have time to like Claire, let alone sympathize with her before she started doing this really awful thing. I never got her reasons for carrying on the affair either.

I did however enjoy the characters of Sibhoan and Max West; for me, they were the reason to keep reading the book, and the most relateable. And I enjoyed the titles of the chapters.
