Ohhh think I may have found a book that is better than my belovedVogue French cookery every recipe is lovely and easy to make and I mean easy. Divided into sections under region for each Bistro Fran has visited. There is short introduction about the owners, location, the history of each bistro etc and a map so if you're in the area you can locate said establishment. All the recipes are easy to reproduce with everyday ingredients.....tonight I made Raspberries in Rose Jelly which went down a treat even with the picky younger members of the family......A definate keeper and probably one of the best cookery books I own full of genuine honest food.
