Tracking the Tempest was absolutely awesome! Jane is an amazing character. She is so real. Her actions, her feelings, I feel like I can relate to some of them sometimes. She doesn't just jump the gun and feel this way because she has to, she feels what she feels. The action was very well-paced too. Never a dull moment or a lapse. I was gripped the entire time I was reading it.
The other Halfling was written very well too, he was a creepy sort of character, but one you almost sympathize for once you learn more about his background. He was terrifying too though, for he had an unhealthy obsession with Jane that chilled me. When characters like that come about they are more frightening than any vampire, warlock, demon, etc, etc.
Overall Tracking the Tempest was a phenomenal read. The ending was surprising as well and I am looking forward to Tempest's Legacy in January, or even late December.
