** spoiler alert ** I spent the last week reading the first 4 stories in this series. If you look them up you will only see 3 books. Shayla wrote a novella called Fated that's not numbered on her website but was the 2nd written. This book introduces Marrock and Olivia. Marrock is a medieval warrior. Once a knight in King Author's realm he spurned the witch Morganna la Fey and she used a book called the 'Doomsday Diary' to curse him to immortality without sexual release.

There is an out to the curse and her name is Olivia Gray. She is the Great, Great..I don't know how many great's, grandaughter of the strongest witch of all time. Is she a good witch or has she inherited her grandmother's vengefulness? Will Marrok recognize her and find a way to break his curse? All he wants is an end to his cursed Mortality. You'll have to read the book to find the answers.

Bram is a wizard with a vision and an agenda. He knows if the 'Doomsday Diary' falls into the wrong hands it will mean the end of magickind and most likely humans too. Bram will bring together those men who can protect the diary and he needs Marrok to train the wizards in the ways of human battle. That's going to be a challenge though since Marrok has no desire to help magickind or to live and fight. Will Bram be able to pursuade a man who's spent 1500 years miserable because of a witch that their is reason to live and fight with magickind? Find out, you will be glad you did.
