** spoiler alert ** This is definitly a book of climaxes as not only does Betsy and Sinclair have to face the music for Antonia's death by visiting a castle full of Werewolves. But also Laura, daughter of the devil and Betsy's half sister is deal with equally big problems. Her identity by satan worshippers has been discovered and she needs to work out what to do with such unwelcome attention. Marc, the gay doctor, believes he has the answer and for a short while it works well until Laura extends them thus extending the problem into an even bigger one. So foolishly believing she's doing the right thing that she fails to see how evil her actions are becoming. Betsy and Sinclair managed to create a comfortable peace with the werewolves over Antonia's death and only makes it back just in time to stop a cull of vampires occuring. Sadly it results in Laura and Betsy having a woman vs woman combat session and the Devil appears just to mock them by subtly revealing it was her plan all along.
Yet again the last few weeks have been a hectic nightmare for Betsy but a deeply disturbing one as the trouble comes from within her select group of close friends - least suspect of all was her sister.
It leaves us as a reader waiting expectantly for the next one and wondering what could possibly go wrong next for Betsy, Queen of Vamps.
