bookshelves: to-avoid, romance, historical-romance, erotica-sensual, virgin-heroine
Read on August 23, 2010 — I own a copy

I really didn't enjoy it as much as I hoped I would (I actually had to force myself to keep on going after 70 pages) and I'm glad I didn't buy the next two books... I found the characters seriously lacking in depth: I felt no connection to either heroine or hero, and the whole plot with her fiancé seemed contrived...

***SPOILER ALERT***

The worst for me was when the heroine loses her virginity: they're on a hunt, the hero/heroine slip away to a cabin in the woods, and not 5 minutes inside, and he's slipping into her.. The whole act, including (lack of) foreplay didn't last 7 minutes!!! seriously????

Sorry, I'm just disappointed in this book, especially after reading Lisa Valdez or even Jess Michaels!

Not something I would particularly recommend, which is unfortunate because the three brothers really are hot:-) 2 stars
