I think the books written by King with his pseudonym Richard Bachman, are a bit more grim than his regular works.

This is about a student, Charlie, who from out of the blue, shoots his teacher and takes his class as hostage.

The reason and morality of this, is are not really clear for the reader, so as not his unpredictable behavior.

Charlie is quite a scary character. He likes and dislikes some classmates and while reading you just don't know what to expect...

There is one boy in his class who dislikes Charlie. Charlie dislikes him as well, but that boy got a certain power over Charlie, even though Charlie has the gun. Power with the look in his eyes, his calm, anger and personality.

It is interesting how the suspense is growing between the unpredictable Charlie and his classmates, who all react on different ways at the situation...
