Thirst No. 2: Phantom, Evil Thirst, and Creatures of Forever (Thirst, #2)
by Christopher Pike
by Christopher Pike
Not sure how I feel about Thirst No 2, I think I liked the first one better because I didn't like the direction this book took, especially towards the end, but I did really enjoy the ending and I am curious to know how it will be carried into a third in the series. I usually tend to like Christopher Pike's writing style, but some parts in the series are rather dry and diffcult to read, and as the series goes on I feel like the main character gets less and less of a personalitiy. Making it harder and harder to root for her as you reading. At some points I felt like, ok just kill her already so this will be over, I never felt that way in the first book, and actually found her to be a much more likeable character in Thirst No. 1.
