This book is about a little girl who went to a department store and bought a teddy bear that she really loved. It shows how she cared for the teddy bear.
Corduroy can be used to teach children about needs and wants and also showing them how to care for others. It is a great book for children that like teddy bears as well as toys in general. This adds some humor as well. i recommend him it, especially for kindergarten.
The newer version on this book is equipped with the story on a CD and so can be an added fun for families and teachers!
