Not truly a Christian fantasy more of an epic quest of spiritual discovery. The first chapter is rough sledding with a whole new world to grasp. After that the book maintains a rapid clip with adventure, danger, mystery as Bilgash the Highrider goes on his quest for the four cornerstones of the East. The kidnapping of Lady Namaaria the Grafina of Kaldunt & Thaedric the Hearld is a great subplot. Vyrlin and her father Glypiptiol the Geckelmancer save the day time and again. But the evil Oberraeker of the North is an ever present danger to one and all.
