I thought this book was really amazing. Not my favorite, because I like real fantasy a lot more, but still, good.

Merry and Mally are twins. One was born on 11:59 PM on Dec. 31 and one was born on 12:01 AM on Jan. 1. I know, kind of cheesy, but, ya. So, they have some mysterious house fire that's caused by Merry's best friends big brother, David. The girls use their new "powers" (Mally seeing the future and Merry seeing the past I THINK) to face him and make him stop. Oh, and they have telepathy. So, later on after finding a couple of dead-ends, Merry is taking a run and "runs" into David (Haha, let's all laugh at my lame joke). So, Mally's calling her because she should've been back by now. But, no, she's facing a dude who starts fires and takes girls. She run's away and David slips on a crack and falls off of the cliff and splats by the river. Ew. So then Kim (Merry's BFF) starts getting all depressed and hangs out with the kids who go to jail and drink every night.

It's really more intriguing then I make it sound. XD
