This book in my opinion is a lot more gripping than the original two but I guess the first two in this series could be a gentle and very humerous intro into the world of Betsy Taylor and the Vamps.
In this book the plot is a tad more complex and deep, a new character is introduced but like all the others tend to be a contradiction of their stereotype -daughter of the devil- but that's what make the characters so strong. They're all uniquely different, they have their own charms, motive, attitude towards thing and so even with the rather simple plot line in the previous two you can't help but want to read on if only to find out how they react to what occurs next. Even Betsy reveals a dark side to herself and it reveals how human she acts when it comes to all the problems of her trying and sometimes failing to be a good vamp, good friend as well as Queen of the Vamps.
As usual the humour and wit in Betsy's thoughts, experiences and dialogue is very well timed and never seems to get tiresome. Definitely worth reading and greatly enjoyed it.
