Piercing the Darkness (Darkness, #2)
by Frank Peretti
by Frank Peretti
Wow, another awesome book by Frank Peretti. This book had the duality of the intrigue and struggle both on the physical and spiritual realms happening simultaneously. It was very well written and I enjoyed it thoroughly. I real page turner, just like his first.
It was a real eye opener to me how the book talks about how special interest groups will use trial law to further their causes and build up rulings to bend the law in their favor, one ruling at a time. This is a "fiction" book, but this happens all the time. Also how these organizations follow a strategic agenda, not really caring about the people in each case but sponsoring the ones that will help them reach their end goals. Really makes me want to follow what is going on in the world much more closely. Beware any "initiative" that will take away your religious rights or make them ambiguous in any way and fight it.
