** spoiler alert ** This book is extremely well edited. Has to be one of the best Hollywood tales around. It is apparent Ms. Crane was not brought up to "be herself", but in the end, became her true self, a compassionate and forgiving person. I am not completely convinced there is something that is not meeting the eye concerning the Stompanato issue, whether it be Ms. Crane's state of mind at the time, or Ms. Turner's subtle drawing of a teen girl into her fray (and knowingly exposing young emotions to her violent relationship).
