Instead of the light, funny read that I thought this would be by the cute book title, I found that the book title is accurate in a completely unexpected way - a woman bitching about her life for what felt like seven years. The main character seems unhappy with all aspects of her life. When she's with her baby, she wishes she were working. When she's working she wishes she was with her baby. Her husband is not good enough, the restaurants aren't good enough, and she has a weird obsession about her nanny. I couldn't sympathize or relate to this woman. I'm a silver-lining, glass-full type of gal. She had everything and was happy with nothing. When she finally figures out that what she has is actually pretty great and finds happiness at the end, I felt she didn't deserve it. It was an unpleasant read throughout and I wouldn't recommend it - despite the cute title.
