This book was difficult and happy and funny all at the same time. I'd go from crying to smiling in nearly five seconds. I believe what makes this book so great is the ability of Nelson to include you in the real picture of grief. As anyone who has lost someone, a relative or friend, the feelings of hope for future and how that someone would be pleased for you, then guilt and pain of knowing that they won't ever be able to know about or share that future is captured here very realistically. That alone, makes this a worthwhile read.
