I'm so glad I read this, it was amazing. The drawings are incredible and the characters are vivid and instant and wonderful and heartbreaking.

Emma ooh, ooh, lucky Katy, I wish I had not read Maus so I could read it afresh again.

Emma it's basically the Best Graphic Novel Ever, which is a bit sad because no other one is ever as good.


Katy hehe yeah it's pretty amazing. I liked V for Vendetta too, though, so I'm not totally ruined for graphic novels :)

Emma I have not read V for Vendetta but I saw the movie and I think that's probably ruined me for the original ... praps knowing the plot 'n'all wouldn't matter. and the movie was pretty forgettable so maybe it would all seem fresh ...
