In a word: decent.

Secrets of My Hollywood Life is like Hannah Montanna, but for a slightly older and slightly more literate crowd. It follows the struggles of an exasperated teenage superstar craving a slice of normality. In true Disney Chanel-inspired fashion, she creates a double persona and flits between Hollywood and high school. I found her to be infuriatingly annoying at times, but I really liked her (nerdy) obsession with Star Wars. It added a much needed touch of reality to an otherwise slightly-too-stereotypical character.

I'll be honest: this book was better a few years ago when I read it. I don't think it's bad, I just have outgrown it. But for a teenager looking for a quick read I'd say: don't knock it till you've tried it.
