Oh Dan. What I wouldn't give to have you go back to the Angels and Demons days. Is this a good story? Sure. It kept my interest. Fast paced, though it could have been faster paced had Dan omitted several hundred thousand unnecessary descriptors and adjectives. Despite the gripes I have with that, Langdon takes us on another excellent adventure and on American soil this time. That alone makes the story appealing because of familiarity with some of the places and things. If you've read A&D and TDVC, then you might as well see what Robert Langdon gets roped into this time. If you haven't read the other books, pick up Angels & Demons, but proceed with caution. It doesn't get much better than the first.
