it was amazing
bookshelves: crime, world

Wonderful border-set crime novel, reminiscent of P.I. Taibo in its mix of hardboiled and for want of a better phrase, magic realism, in a way we just don't see from American crime writer, except maybe for Thompson at the end of the Getaway, or Cain in Postman. A great debut.
