I said to my father once, if I had a chance to be a boy I would wish so hard to grow up as Henry Faber. I don't know if he was delighted that I was reading so much of his books or horrified that I would want to be a German spy who stabs people with a stiletto. Believe me, at the time it felt really, really amazing to me.

Maybe I should blame my parents for corrupting me at an early age.
