Wowee!

Really, wow. I mean, wow.

There isn't much to say that won't ruin the game for people who haven't gotten this far in the series yet, so we'll leave it with this:

This is one of those things that was about the journey, not the destination.

If the last book was the utter un-making of Harry Dresden, this book was his rebirth. We see him sort through the man he was - what shaped him, the decisions he made - and we see him choose what man he's going to be from here on out.

Great things are happening.

And when the hell do we get the next one?!

24.0% "It's fun watching Dresden learn the ghosty rules, but honestly, I hope this situation doesn't persist as it is too much longer. A powerless Dresden just feels like a gutted character." 1 comment

27.0% ""Harry Dresden, hung upon a tree. Afraid to embrace his des-tin-y." -- This entire conversation is very interesting. And I can't help but feel that in addition to the clear foreshadowing (of what might be, not what must be... I think), it is also a major turning point for Harry." 2 comments

Catherine I hope this one is good. *bites nails* Your updates are probably going to convince me to read this earlier than I planned.

Erika Badass It was really great Catherine

Catherine I'm so nervous about where this story will take us. I have faith, though.

Katyana I am excited. Been living with that last cliffhanger for waaaaaaaay too long. I am a couple chapters in, and so far, so good. *excited clap*

Regina It is a brilliantly told story. One of my favorite in the seires. :)

Katyana I can't imagine anything could top Changes for me, but I am still positive that I am going to love it.

Regina I was surprised too. I love Harry even more, if that was possible.

Katyana Can't wait! I will probably push through it tomorrow, as Boyfriend is out of town this weekend. Yay for reading time!
