Read from June 13 to 14, 2010

Didion is a very talented writer and her descriptions of grief, disbelief and mourning are compelling; however this book is as much about her entire marriage and life as a wife and mother as her first year as a widow and the serious illness of her only child. It was not as difficult to read as the first few pages led me to believe.
