Stalled on page 187. Turtledove is usually one of my favorite writers but I am finding this kind of boring. I will go back to it when I am more in the mood for 9 A.D.
Finally got around to finishing the book. I was rather disappointed. One of my favorite authors writing about an interesting subject should have been better. It never seemed to gel. Some of the speech seemed too contemporary.
