I could not put these books down! I read them both (Jack's Run is the second one) in only a few hours. Again, Smith stole all my attention with his writing. What a great break from my Praxis studying! They are really quick, anyone could just fly through them, and they would be so good for any reluctant reader. The plot is exciting and fast pace, the writing is done well, the characters develop, it's pretty good YA literature. The books are very similar in their plot (the get found in witness protection, captured, and get away) but Smith mad it so I did not feel like I was reading the same book twice. A must for the classroom, a must for the home... just read them. You'll love them!
