Considering starting a food business? This book is very comprehensive and detailed about how the food industry works, what's involved, and exactly what you would need to do in order to succeed. It's a little out of date, but there's a newer edition out with a different name, and I'm sure it's even more awesome. I'm disappointed to report that the reality check provided by this book has pretty much cemented my decision not to start a cheese business, but I'm grateful for the trouble it saved me by having all this information in one place. When I was starting my yarn business, I would have killed for a similarly comprehensive and detailed book about that! So many times, I've wished for a book that would tell me exactly what I needed to know. Usually there is no such book, but in the case of the cheese business, this book was it!
