really liked it
bookshelves: youngadult, romance
Read from June 10 to July 02, 2010

I really love the choir settings. I keep on imagining how their voices and song would be like when I read this book. I wish I can hear the music.

At first, I liked the main character, Beth. I mean she seems quite level headed inspite of the bullying she faced at school. And the songs she write was really heartfelt and beautiful. However....after she met and become a girlfriend of Derek , she became the clingiest character I've ever read. Really..I want to shout " what the heck! Stop nagging and whining!". I know that the author purposefully did this. The main character was not perfect. I guess after being bullied as "the beast" all her life, she was pretty insecure . But still...
May be it's just me who is too judgmental I guess. Or may be because I already know the ending and what actually happening to Derek So the constant nagging and whining by Beth really irritated me.

That's why I lower down my rating to 4 stars instead of 5 stars.

Angela Morrison Thanks for posting this Frezanda. It's always good to hear a honest opinion. I'm working on a new book and trying really hard to make sure the heroine isn't clingy!
