Abundant witty repartee and a clever knack for the wonderfully ridiculous sensual scenarios that one enjoys in a romance. The book starts a bit heavy with a great deal of exposition hidden under some dull blather before finally settling into an alternate world steampunk (science weapons/dirigibles) fantasy type Victorian England with vampires and werewolves. A nifty story about a very special heroine who finds herself bridging the gap between humanity and the supernatural, quite unwillingly, mind you, but she does have a gift. Great fun!
