Through this fascinating and well-narrated memoir, we go with Julia Child on her journey learning to cook in France, the incredible labor of love that was creating her cookbook (Master the Art of French Cooking), and starting her revolutionary cooking TV show. Occasionally the pace dragged, but overall I found this a very interesting read and perfect as an audiobook where we get the benefit of hearing the correct French pronunciations. Recommended for foodies and anyone else who like the Julia bits of Julie and Julia.
