Finished this book while on the flight back from vacation. Quite fitting considering it's about travel and geography and culture and happiness.

I really liked this book! Eric Weiner traveled to 10 different countries to do research on the people and their happiness levels. You would think rich countries would be happier, but that's not true. You would think Iceland, the land of darkness at noon, would be unhappy, yet they are some of the happiest people in the world. It really gave me some perspective. Also, people who travel to different parts of the world are happier, because they think there's something magnificently bigger than themselves.

Book was very interesting and easy to read.
