i don't really know what to say about this - i sped through it. it was a little frustrating because the whole story was a bit obvious to me and little forced, but i enjoyed the structure and i enjoyed melinda.
it is a very powerful story, i think, that perhaps i read too quickly to fully grasp. however, the fact that i kept reading and wanting to read means a lot, especially right now.
one of my favorite parts was the "comment on censorship" at the end. the other favorite part was david's comment on melinda's suffragette project. absolutely perfect and on point.
definitely want to seek out more by the author - she kind of reminds me of a Karin Slaughter
for the YA world - though, not quite as bleak or thriller-based.
