Another great Patterson book. With so many Patterson books out there, and other thrillers for that matter, they tend to start sounding the same after you read enough of them. I thought that this story was very original. I could not put this book down.
I've seen some people put-off by the short chapters like he is implying that his readers have no attention span. You don't pick up a Patterson novel for it's literary genius, I'll tell you that. He writes page-turning thrillers, and I think the short chapters help add to the 'page-turning' part of his work. I myself like the format, and enjoy being able to read his books quickly. It also doesn't hurt that this story was very good. After the last Patterson I read I was a little worried, but this is classic Patterson to me.
