really liked it

I really enjoyed this little fantasy book and am getting ready to start the last book in the series. I enjoy the characters and the fantasy. These books are about four dragons, their human guides and their quest to discover why the dragons have been awakened and to what purpose. Each book features a different dragon and their guide, but the characters from previous books are also involved. There are mutiple settings which kept my interest (medieval Germany, modern Africa, and future America.) Kellogg emphasizes the effects of climate change in each book, culminating in an America where many cities have been flooded and the landscape is hot and barren.
